ByteDance launched Douyin in 2016. Later, it acquired Musical.ly and renamed it as TikTok. ByteDance has made it an international version, available for all the users around the world. Toutiao and TikTok are short videos making an application that has earned great popularity. ByteDance announced these two applications had more than 500 million users per month.

ByteDance is one of the growing Chinese companies. These applications are providing valuable services to people around the globe.

From early on, the company ByteDance planned to grow its business outside China. Therefore, it has introduced TikTok as an international product. Within a single click, the accounts created on Musical.ly are transferred to TikTok.
